A Different Kind of Sinful Sunday Flash Fiction

This week marked fifty weeks for Sinful Sunday–fifty weeks of amazing writers showcasing their talent on my site. But all good things must come to a…change.

You see, I don’t want Sinful Sunday Flash Fiction to end. But I’ve noticed a bit of a decrease in participation. Whether it’s from busy schedules, other contests or lack of continued interest, I’m not sure. As those of who are still writing know, smaller circles bring repeat winners. And…erm…well, I’m all out of friends to ask to be guest judges. Seriously. I don’t have any more! So I can’t keep running the contest as I have been. It’s also a bit time consuming, and I have to make time for my writing because I’ve gotten my first official unofficial bite from a publishing house. I don’t want to say which one, because there’s always the chance that it might fall through, but for now I really need to devote my weekends to writing. I know you guys will understand.

So here’s what I’m proposing. What I’d like to be able to do is continue to have a space on my site for writers to respond to prompts, or post snippets of what they’re working on. It wouldn’t be a contest anymore–no judges. Just a place to share your work. I was thinking of doing this once or twice a month, but still on a Sunday. Also, I thought it would be fun to have the post go up around holidays–Sinfully Spooky Halloween writing, and things like that. I’d really love to keep connecting with all of you, and to see what you’ve got cooking in your raunchy little minds ;-).

Feel free to comment and let me know if you’re game to keep playing in this new format. Until next time, stay sinful.

I’d love to keep playing. If there are prompts, I’m in!! And if no judging, that’s fine too. 🙂
